Monkey Bread

Monkey Bread 1

Two times a month we host a Moms Group at our house.  It’s a crazy morning full of laughter and energy.  The kids play while the moms enjoy coffee and a breakfast treat.  Ok.  That makes it seem much more leisurely than it is.  We are wrangling kids, feeding kids, filling sippy cups but no one cares.  We all love each other, we enjoy our time together and our kids have fun.  There is something encouraging and wonderful about spending time with women that understand your current season of life.  I look forward to our get togethers for so many reasons.  When our mornings are over, I feel energized and refreshed.  Such a sweet blessing during this season of having little kids.

I love having another excuse to try new food, especially breakfast dishes.  I had a bag of leftover bread dough that I was intent to turn into something delicious.  I scoured the internet for recipes and realized that I could create something with a few ingredients that I had on hand.  I came up with this recipe for Monkey Bread.  This was incredibly easy to make.  The end result was beautiful and delicious.
